Can I book a Transfer Service from Cancun airport to Hotel La Palapa directly with you?

Yes! We organize for our guest a private airport transfer from Cancun International Airport to Beachfront Hotel La Palapa. Our Transfer service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your chauffeur will be waiting for you at the arrival airport terminal. After 2 hours in a comfortable air conditioned private van , you will reach Chiquila, the small harbor located north of the State of Quintana Roo, where a Ferry Boat will be waiting for you. When you will arrive in Holbox, a golf-cart taxi will drop you off directly to our Hotel. Price includes Ferry and Holbox Taxi to or from hotel.

At what time can I check in?

Check in time is at 3:00pm. If you arrive in the morning and your room is available before 3:00pm, we will gladly check you in immediately. Otherwise, we will store your luggage, give you full availability of our beach club and showers and give you the room as soon as it becomes available.

And what about check out?

Check out time is at noon (12:00 pm). You can decide to store your luggage with us so you don´t have to worry about carrying things with you. The Hotel has a private toilet and shower that you can use at any time after your check out.

Do you have Internet connection?

Yes, we offer Wi-fi internet access (free of charge) in all the rooms and in all the public areas.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, all rooms have a private safe deposit box.

Should I leave a deposit as guarantee?

To process your reservation, a Non-refundable Reservation Guarantee Deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total charge will be debited to your credit card. The payment will be processed in real time through our Online Booking System and a confirmation e-mail will confirm you that the transaction has been successfully completed. The rest of the total will be paid at Check-In.

What about your Cancellation Policy?

The Reservation Guarantee Deposit of 50% is Non-refundable.
• If you cancel your reservation just during the 14 days before check-in, the hotel will charge you another 25% of the remaining balance.
• In case of NO SHOW, the full amount of the room will be charged.
• In case of change of the arrival day, we will charge a penality of 10% (availability and price will depend on the new date).

Which payments are accepted at Hotel La Palapa?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Cash (Mexican Pesos, US Dollars and Euros).

Should I take cash?

We recommend you always carry cash because, in our island, there is just one ATM and credit card payments sometimes have problems.
